    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing biodiesel fuel, which makes it possible to construct a distributed energy supply system that provides needed energy at a location that require the energy, the system in which the storage stability is excellent, alcohol (auxiliary raw material) is not required, glycerol is not produced as a by-product, impurities such as dienes are unlikely to remain in the product, the amount of coke generated is small, the pour point is low, and blackening and abnormal odors rarely occur by virtue of stability against air or the like, the production efficiency and productivity are excellent to prevent running costs from increasing or productivity from decreasing since being free from ancillary work such as treatment or reactivation of used catalysts, and further capable of contemplating abbreviation of production processes and simplification of reaction apparatuses since a pretreatment for removing free fatty acids from raw material fat or the like is not needed.SOLUTION: A decomposition catalyst for fat decarboxylation and fats are brought into contact at 350°C-475°C to cleave an ester bond portion under the action of the decomposition catalyst for fat decarboxylation, and thus the biodiesel fuel constituting mainly C8-C24 hydrocarbons is obtained by decarboxylation decomposition reaction.
