    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical system and an operation method of instruments such as a treatment instrument which can easily change directions and positions/postures of the treatment instrument or the like while maintaining a direction of an insertion part.SOLUTION: A medical system is provided with: a sheath tube 11; a treatment instrument channel 16; a treatment instrument 30 inserted in the treatment instrument channel 16; and a holder 20 provided for the sheath tube 11. The holder 20 has: a grip part 26 for holding the treatment instrument 30; and a joint 22 for moving the grip part 26 with respect to the sheath tube 11. The treatment instrument 30 has: a treatment part 32 for treating a part to be treated; a flexible tube part 31 where the treatment part 32 is placed at an end part and which is inserted in the treatment instrument channel 16; and a ring part 36 which is provided for at least one of the treatment part 32 and the flexible tube 31 and is gripped by the grip part 26.
