    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency, operability or convenience relating to the transmission of image data from a plurality of receivers in a capsule type endoscope system.
      SOLUTION: The capsule type endoscope system comprises the plurality of receivers 201 and 202 for receiving the image data from a capsule type endoscope, a plurality of cradles 101 and 102 provided with slots for inserting them, and an observation device 301 connected with the respective cradles 101 and 102 through a cable. The image data are transmitted from the receivers 201 and 202 to the observation device 301. Also, patient information including a patient ID is stored in the receivers 201 and 202 and is displayed at display parts 203 and 204. The observation device 301 displays the patient information and the progress condition of the transmission of the image data corresponding to the identification information of the cradle.
