摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toothbrush capable of enabling a tuft to extend past the end of the head of the toothbrush and thus sufficiently cleaning molars in the back of the mouth by bending the tuft.
SOLUTION: The toothbrush 10 has a handle 12, a head 14 extending from the handle 12 and a plurality of tufts of bristles secured to the head 14. One of the tufts is secured to the head 14 at a location such that no other tuft is secured to the head 14 at a location that is more distal from the handle 12 than the location where the one tuft is secured to the head 14. The one tuft is angled by about 81 degrees or less relative to an imaginary line which is tangent to a co-planar with a surface of the head through which the one tuft is secured to the head 14. The one tuft is tilted away from the handle 12 towards a direction along which the head extends from the handle 12.
