SOLUTION: This shoe protector 1 is provided with an overshoe attachment member 2 designed to cover one's footwear he/she wears, and a protecting member 3 having stiffness which is attached to the attachment member 2 in a manner that covering the instep part of his/her foot at least. The protecting member 3 includes a bend 31 which is curved along the instep shape, and a leg 32 which, when the bend 31 is given a shock, prevents the bend 31 from moving toward the instep by touching the ground while having the bend 31 keep a distance from the instep. The attachment member 2 is provided with a supporting means 4 which supports the protecting member 3 so that the lower edge 32a of the leg 32 can stay at a position at least above the ground except when the protecting member 3 is given a shock.
