    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-vibration structure for a handle of a portable brush cutter, simple in structure and well-operable with the small shakings of the operation handle.SOLUTION: The anti-vibration structure is provided, being such that: a fitting stay 10 for the operation handle 5 is fixed onto a pole 2; the ends of both right and left sides of the operation handle 5 are provided via relevant vibration-proof materials on both right and left sides of the fitting stay 10, respectively; one side of each of the vibration-proof materials is housed in the recessed part of the fitting stay 10, an opening groove is formed on the other side of each of the vibration-proof materials; projections formed on both right and left sides of the operation handle 5 are inserted into the corresponding opening grooves, and fitted so as to nip each of the relevant vibration-proof materials in the orthogonal direction of the pole 2 with the fitting stay 10 and the operation handle 5.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clutch with a torsional damper that is capable of controlling the torsional vibration of a drive shaft without causing the fixtures of a flywheel to loosen.SOLUTION: The clutch 20 includes a clutch drum 32 connected to a cutting blade 3 via a drive shaft 6, and a clutch shoe 34 connected to a crankshaft 16 of an engine E and connected to the clutch drum 32 by a centrifugal force. To a flywheel 18 secured to the crankshaft 16 with a nut 19, a holder 36 is connected via a compression coil spring 50 in such a manner as to be capable of relative movement in its circumferential direction. The clutch shoe 34 is supported against the holder 36. A stopper structure 56 for transmitting the rotation force of the engine E to the holder 36 is provided between the flywheel 18 and the holder 36.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain optimum anti-vibration effects in suiting to the situations of a brush cutter body through adjusting the deflection level of a vibration-proof material.SOLUTION: A portable brush cutter is provided, being such that: the tip of a pole is set with a working part such as a cutter; an engine for driving the working part and throttle wires 8 for putting the operation of the engine under control are laid; the basal part side of the pole is installed with a lever enabling itself to make a returnable control; and the working part and the engine are connected by a transmission shaft with each other. In this brush cutter, the pole is disposed with support members supporting the lever via respective vibration-proof materials 12 on both sides of the lever; both sides of the lever are furnished with respective projections 14 projected in the direction of the pole axis; each of the vibration-proof materials 12 is provided with an opening groove to be inserted with each of the corresponding projections 14; and each of the support members is provided with a recessed part to be housed with each of the corresponding vibration-proof materials 12 and also provided so as to nip the relevant vibration-proof material 12 in the axial direction of the pole with both the support member and the lever.
