SOLUTION: This control device is provided with maximum injection volume calculation means 2 for calculating a maximum injection volume based on a load condition such as intake temperature and atmospheric pressure, and engine speed; a control means (ECU) for controlling a fuel injection pump based on the maximum injection volume at low speed; and correction means 10, 11, 12 for increasingly correcting the maximum injection volume when a temperature of an automatic transmission fluid is lower than a predetermined temperature and engine speed is lower than a predetermined speed at starting immediately after engine start at a low temperature.

摘要： PURPOSE:To sufficiently suppress the generation of smoke during free acceleration being the adverse influence of control, in a diesel engine which performs advance control or an EGR control of a fuel injection timing so that acceleration characteristics or an exhaust gas component during acceleration is improved. CONSTITUTION:A TPS target value is computed by a timer position sensor(TPS) target computing part 1. The TPS target value is controlled in an advance direction during acceleration. Free acceleration is detected by a free acceleration detecting part 2. When free acceleration is detected, a TPS damp target value having a factor of advance reduced to a value lower than a TPS target value is computed by a TPS target value damper part 3. The TPS target value is usually selected by a correction part 4 and outputted as a final target value but during free acceleration, the TPS damp target value is selected and outputted. During free acceleration, not only damping control is effected by means of an advance factor but also damping control may be executed by means of an EGR factor.

CONSTITUTION:A control hole 16 extending from the end face facing to a high pressure chamber 7 to a low pressure chamber 8 side is formed in a timer piston 6. The bottom part of the control hole 16 is communicated to a pump chamber through a pressure oil introducing hole 17. A volume correcting piston 19 is provided in the control hole 16 slidably and liquid-tightly. The volume correcting piston 19 is energizated to the bottom side of the control hole 16 with a spring 20. The energizating force of the spring 20 is set so that the volume correcting piston can move to the high pressure chamber 7 side against the spring 20 by differential pressure between the pump chamber and the high pressure chamber, when the pressure of the high pressure chamber is lowered to the extent not to occur cavitation.
