    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating dolomite sludge capable of treating either of dolomite slurry or dolomite cake as dolomite sludge, and obtaining a material for a soil improving material and an industrial material such as a material for cement, and to provide the soil improving material containing a product material obtained by the treatment method.SOLUTION: A method for producing the material for the soil improving material includes a reaction step of mixing and reacting the dolomite sludge and sulfuric acid, and generating calcium sulfate and magnesium sulfate, and a separation step of separating the calcium sulfate and the magnesium sulfate. The soil improving material is formed by mixing the calcium sulfate and the magnesium sulfate produced by the producing method.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas treatment agent which is used for removing acid gas from exhaust gas of a refuse incineration plant, and which maintains high reactivity with acid gas and furthermore, has reduced sticking property to transport piping, reduces clogging of a bag filter due to the treatment agent, achieves low CO concentration in the exhaust gas and a small COD value of fly ash wash water and achieves little elution of heavy metal included in the fly ash, and to provide a method of producing the exhaust gas treatment agent.SOLUTION: The exhaust gas treatment agent is a slaked product produced by firing limestone containing MgCOof 5 wt.% or more as dolomite or MgO at a temperature of 900-1,200°C, then slaking the fired lime stone by adding slaking water to which diethylene glycol of 1 wt.% or less with respect to a fired product is added and maturing the slaked product. The exhaust gas treatment agent contains MgO+Mg(OH)of 5 wt.% or more in terms of MgO, and has a specific surface area of 30 m/g or more and less than 50 m/g, and a fine pore volume of 0.15 cm/g or more and less than 0.3 cm/g.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of processing dolomite-based calcination dust for extracting a magnesium component and a calcium component from the dolomite-based calcination dust.SOLUTION: The method of processing dolomite-based calcination dust includes: a dissolution step S1 of dissolving the calcium component and the magnesium component of the dolomite-based calcination dust with ammonia water by reacting the dolomite-based calcination dust with an acid; a separation step S2 of depositing the magnesium component as magnesium hydroxide by adjusting pH of solution in which the calcium component and the magnesium component are dissolved, and consequently separating the solution into the magnesium component and a calcium-containing solution; and a carbonation step S3 of reacting the calcium component-containing solution with carbon dioxide-containing gas thereby carbonating the solution.
