    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an ignition accident by a child by arranging locking means for blocking a depressing operation of a push button and disabling an igniting operation unless the lock is released.
      SOLUTION: A sidewall of a casing annexed to a side of a device body opens as an unlocking operation window. The casing is fitted with an unlocking slide case vertically movable inside three sidewalls except one facing the device body. A high voltage electricity generator is inserted and fixed in the slide case. A lock member consisting of a long plate spring with an upper end reaching a lower edge of the push button capping a movable member of the high voltage electricity generator and loosely fitting in the casing is inserted and fixed in an operation space and placed in springy contact with the slide case. In the slide case, a lower projection brought in contact with an inclined portion of the lock member, and tongues for click stops engaged with recessed and projected portions on the device body side are projected respectively on a lower portion, and vertical edges on an open face facing the device body, to form a safety lock mechanism.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mount and demount a fuel tank through half-rotation in a way that the body of a closing valve on the combustion device side forms a cylinder body and to perform reliable and airtight connection between the closing valve and a fuel valve. SOLUTION: This gas lighter comprises an upper structure 1 provided at a central part with a combustion device 13 and a closing valve 14 right therebelow; an exchangeable fuel tank 2 situated below the upper structure 1, and a case 3 covering the fuel tank 2 and fitted in the upper structure 1. A valve body 15 of the closing valve 14 forms a cylinder body partitioned into a valve chamber 16 and a lower end opening 17 by a partition 15a, and is protruded long under the upper structure. An insertion hole 21 of the valve body 15 is recessed in the central part of the upper surface of the fuel tank 2. The lower end opening of the valve body 15 is fitted in an airtight manner in the insertion hole 21, and a fuel valve 22 is provided to be opened against a spring member 27 through contact with the partition 15a. A pair of engaging members 4 and 5 fitted in each other on both sides of the valve body 15 and the insertion hole 21 through rotation are protruded from the upper structure 1 and the fuel tank 2, respectively.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To readily perform heating processes of glass and noble metal with flames of premixed gas of liquefied gas and air by setting a gas burner on a burner stand. SOLUTION: A gas burner 2 for burning premixed gas is set on the upper surface of a small size burner stand 1 having a shape of a flat box. A gas pressure governor 4 is attached to an accommodating chamber 11 for a cassette bomb 3, which is provided to the side of the burner stand. A piezoelectric unit 5 which is operated through a control knob 43 of the pressure governor 4 is provided to the chamber 11. A discharging electrode 61 for ignition, which is provided to a burner port 22 of the burner 2 is connected to a lead wire 51 of the unit 5. The gas burner 2 is constituted with a cylindrical burner body 21 having an opening of the burner port 22 at the end thereof and a lengthwise mixer tube 23 connected to the lower side surface of the body 21. The tip of a gas pipe line 42, which is in the form of a nozzle, from the pressure governor 4 is inserted into the end of the opening of the mixer tube 23. Thus, premixed gas of liquefied gas and air is produced in the mixer tube 23.
