Accordingly, a direct wave from the horn 20 is cut off by the plate 40.

    • PURPOSE:To sharpen more a received picture pattern and to prevent surely generation of ghost or the like by fitting a radio wave shield in parallel with irradiated direction of a radio wave to the peripheral of a parabolic antenna main body. CONSTITUTION:The radio wave shield body 20 consists of a cylindrical main body 21 made of an FRP, a radio wave absorbing layer 22 provided to cover the inner circumference of the main body 21 and a radio wave shield layer 23 provided to cover the peripheral face of the main body 21. The inner diameter of the main body 21 is made nearly coincident with the inner diameter of a peripheral part 10a of the parabolic antenna main body 10 and the thickness is a thickness offering the required strength to the said radio wave shield 20. Thus, the electromagnetic wave from a communication satellite is reflected in the surrounding buildings or the like and a reflected wave R1 is about to invade into the parabolic antenna main body 10, but it is reflected or grounded by the radio wave shield body 20 or absorbed and attenuated and the invasion into the parabolic antenna main body 10 is shut off.
