SOLUTION: In this button, a housing section 11A through which the distal end section 12A of a fastener 12 is passed is formed on the button main body 11, and for the fastener 12, a shoulder section 12C is formed between the distal end section 12A and a cylindrical section 12B which is continuously formed from the distal end section 12A. Also, the shoulder section 12C is equipped with a corner section 12F which is a cutting section for cutting the fabric 1 together with the passing end 11E of the housing section 11A of the button main body 11.
