摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thawing device utilizing high frequency wave enabling constantly uniform and appropriate thawing treatment to frozen food material. SOLUTION: The thawing device utilizing high frequency wave 10 subjects frozen food material R held between an upper part electrode 31 and a lower part electrode 35 to thawing treatment via induction heating through applying high frequency wave from a high frequency oscillator 50 via opposite electrodes. The area of a unit electrode 302 for a first upper part electrode group to be used for first thawing is set smaller than the area of the surface of the frozen food material R opposite to the surface of the electrode. The area of a unit electrode 303 for a second upper part electrode group to be used for second thawing is set larger than the area of the unit electrode 302 for the first upper part electrode group. The area of a unit electrode 304 for a third upper part electrode group to be used for third thawing is set larger than the area of the unit electrode for the second upper part electrode group.
