    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for growing a seedling, useful for a rice plant, a vegetable, etc., capable of extremely reducing a floor area and improving transportability, equipped with a transporting means so as to send a seedling raising tray from a seeding chamber to a germinating chamber, etc. SOLUTION: This apparatus for growing a seedling is equipped with a first floor part in which a seeding chamber 2 for sowing seeds in a growing bed packed into growing trays 7 and a germinating chamber 3 for germinating the seeds and a second floor part in which a greening chamber 4 and a hardening chamber 5 are formed. The apparatus is equipped with a transporting means 10 for sending the growing trays 7 from the seeding chamber 2 to the germinating chamber 3, from the germinating chamber 3 to the greening chamber 4 and from the greening chamber 4 to the hardening chamber 5 and recovering means 18 at the side of the hardening chamber 5 and the seeding chamber 2 so as to return the empty trays 7 from which seedlings to be grown are taken out from the growing trays 7 to the seeding chamber 2.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nursery box capable of facilitating recovery of leaked culture liquid because of specific position for falling out the culture liquid even if a nutritious liquid is fed into the inner tray while carrying by forming a discharge port of the nutritious liquid on the bottom of one end part on short length side of outer tray and inner tray. SOLUTION: In this nursery box comprising putting inner tray 42 in the interior of an outer tray 48 and putting a bed soil material 4 for raising seedling into the interior of the inner tray 42, discharge ports 46 and 50 of a nutritious liquid are each formed on the bottom of one end part on short length side of inner and outer trays 42 and 48 which are rectangular when viewed from the plane. Furthermore, the bottom of the outer tray 48 is formed of a net-like plate body 49 and the inner tray 42 is put on the upper face of the netlike plate body 49. Thereby, the bottom of the inner tray 42 can be heated from the lower side of the outer tray 48 and heating of the bed soil material 4 for raising seedling can efficiently be carried out.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject facility capable of making a storage place of empty nursery trays and a truck, etc., for transporting the nursery tray unnecessary by installing a seeder, a germination chamber, a greening chamber, a hardening chamber and a seedling take out apparatus in an endless carrying pathway for circulating and moving the nursery trays. SOLUTION: A seeder 5 for sowing seeds onto the upper surface of bed soil material in a nursery tray, a germination chamber 17, a greening chamber 18, a hardening chamber 19 and a seedling take out apparatus 21 are installed in an endless carrying pathway 12 for circulating and moving the nursery tray 1. Furthermore, a nursery tray 1 which is rectangle when viewed from plan is passed through a seeder 5 in a state in which one end part on short side of the tray 1 is turned to the top and the nursery tray 1 is passed through the germination chamber 17 and a hardening chamber 19 in a state in which one end part on long side of the tray 1 is turned to the top. As a result, facilities can effectively be utilized, because a place of the seeder 5 capable of operating in a short time can be made narrow and the germination chamber 17 and the hardening chamber 19 can be made wide. The endless carrying passage 12 is composed of e.g. a pretreating conveyer 3, a sowing conveyer 6, a laterally feeding conveyer 8, a nursery conveyer 9, a laterally feeding conveyer 10 and turn tables 7 and 11.
