    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability while conducting sufficiently deep engagement. SOLUTION: In the connection structure of roof boards 6, in which connecting pieces 7, 7 are folded back to the underside sides at both end sections, a dainage member 2, in which a drain gutter 1 is formed in the eave ridge direction in a U-shaped sectional form, is arranged on a roof foundation 10. A fixing body 4 is fixed onto the roof foundation 10 on one side of the drainage member 2. A movable body 5 is installed to the fixing body 4 in a freely approachable and separable manner while holding the drainage member 2. A drawing means 21 moving the movable body 5 by the revolution of a screw is mounted. A vertical piece 22 abutted against the side wall of the drainage member 2 and latching pieces 23 latching the connecting pieces 7 are formed to each of the fixing body 4 and the movable body 5. The movable body 5 is drawn near to the fixing body 4 side by the drawing means 21, and the connecting pieces 7 are latched by the latching pieces 23 while the vertical piece 22 is abutted against the side wall of the drainage member 2.

    • PURPOSE:To avoid thermal deformation in a connecting place, avoid leakage of water to an attic, and heighten workability by making thermal expansion and thermal contraction easily allowable in the eaves ridge direction while carrying out stable connection in connection of roof materials. CONSTITUTION:A connection member 4 extending over the full length in the eaves ridge direction is fixed in a connecting place between roof materials 2a and 2b in roof backing 1. The roof material placing parts 5 and 5 are formed on the connecting member 4. The parts 6 and 6 to be connected of the end parts of the roof materials 2a and 2b are placed on the roof material placing parts 5 and 5. A short piece-shape connecting metal fitting 7 is erected between both these parts 6a and 6 to be connected. The connecting metal fitting 7 is installed on the connecting member 4 by an installing means 8. The parts 6 and 6 to be connected of the roof materials 2a and 2b are sandwiched by the connecting metal fitting 7 and the connecting member 4. The connecting member 4 is slidably pressed and held in the eaves ridge direction by presser metal fittings 33... on both width directional sides.

    • PURPOSE:To absorb thermal expansion and thermal contraction in the connecting direction, and endure sufficiently even a stepping load applied to a connecting place from above, in connection of roof materials. CONSTITUTION:A connection receiving member 4X is fixed in a connecting place between roof materials 2a and 2b in roof backing 1. The parts 6 and 6 to be connected of the end parts of the roof materials 2a and 2b are placed on the connecting receiving member 4X. A short piece connecting metal fitting 7 is placed over both parts 6 and 6 to be connected from above both parts 6 and 6 to be connected. The connecting metal fitting 7 and the connection receiving member 4X are connected to each other by a connecting means 8 such as a bolt and nut, and the roof materials 2 and 2b are connected to each other. The connection receiving member 4X is formed over the full length in the eaves ridge direction. The parts 6 and 6 to be connected of the roof materials 2a and 2b are placed on the connection receiving member 4X, and a horizontal receiving piece 4a is formed to move and guide the parts 6 and 6 to be connected horizontally in the connecting direction of the roof materials 2a and 2b.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the construction property when a roof material is connected by using a clip, protect a seal material which is likely to deteriorate due to change with age, enable the exchange of the seal material, and provide sufficient mounting strength of a joint cover to be attached across a connection section. SOLUTION: This connection structure is constituted in such a manner that metal roof materials 1, 1 are arranged on both sides of a clip 5 and that connection pieces 2, 2 which rise and are formed in and parts of the roof materials 1, 1 oppose by nipping a rising piece 4 of the clip 5. Pieces 4a, 4a which can be bent are bent along upper end parts of the connection pieces 2, 2 to connect the roof materials 1, 1 by the clip 5, and a seal material 6 is attached across a connection section of the roof materials 1, 1 including the clip 5. The seal material 6 is pressed by a clip 7 across an interval in the direction of length of the seal material 6. A joint cover 8 which forms a cavity E and crosses over the seal material 6 and the clip 7 over the whole length is locked elastically in a lower end part of the clip 7 to cover the connection section of the roof materials 1, 1 with the joint cover 8.
