Thus, an amorphous globular protein powder having a mean particle diameter of 11 μm or smaller and a standard deviation of particle diameters of 0.085 or smaller can be obtained. The globular protein powder is such fine as to selectively deliver a drug to the target site by e.g., a powder inhalation method and is uniform in particle diameter. Therefore, it can be selectively delivered to the target site by e.g. a powder inhalation method.
