    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct a branch aperture increasing construction, while maintaining flow, reducing construction cost, and shortening construction period. SOLUTION: This construction method is for changing aperture of a through hole in a fluid tube 1, a branch tube part of a joint main body, and an opening valve to be larger while maintaining flow of fluid in the fluid tube 1. An elastic closing body 12 in a hole closing tool B is changed into a diameter-enlarged swollen state to seal a small diameter through hole in the fluid tube 1, and a case for the hole closing tool B, the opening valve, and the joint main body are removed in that state. Next, a joint main body E of large diameter for replacement is installed as part of the hole closing tool B is inserted into a branch tube part 7, and an opening valve 8 of large diameter for replacement is installed onto the branch tube part as part of the hole closing tool B is inserted. The elastic closing body 12 is changed into a diameter-reduced contracted state, and the hole closing tool B is removed from the opening valve 8 for replacement. With a rotary cutter installed on the opening valve 8 for replacement, a through hole of larger aperture is formed at a circumferential edge of the small diameter through hole, and a boring device is removed.
