摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screw capable of sufficiently discharging accumulating wood chips to the outside, and also, capable of preventing wood from being cracked. SOLUTION: A spiral thread is formed on the outer peripheral face of a shaft part with a circular cross section extended from the head part to the tip part in the screw. A plane, which includes the axial center in the longitudinal direction of the screw and divides the screw into two equal parts, is represented by A. Another plane, which includes the axial center in the longitudinal direction of the screw and divides the screw into two equal parts, is represented by B. When A and B are orthogonal to each other at the axial center, a groove is formed by a side wall L and a side wall M. The side wall L is extended so as not to be in contact with A, to be in parallel with A without intersecting it, and to straddle (B). The side wall M is extended so as to have a curved face similar to the circumference of a cutting disk for forming the groove and to cross with B at two places.
