摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a casing comprising a strengthened mechanism capable of being immune to distortion or impulse, even when an expensive material or weak material is used for the casing for a portable device in accordance with individual preference. SOLUTION: The invention relates to a casing for a portable communication device. The casing has a front face including: a weak material; a holding means for holding the weak material at a prescribed position along with a length of the casing; and a strengthening means for strengthening a case member with respect to flexibility along the length of the casing in order to protect the weak material from destruction.
