In the chair, a hook-shaped protrusion 11 is provided at a plurality of locations on the core material 7. The fabric cover 9 which is formed into a bag-shape is placed on the core material, and the fabric of the fabric cover is fixed by hooking it on the hook-shaped protrusions. The existing sections of the hook-shaped protrusions are covered with a decorative cover 12 made of a synthetic resin. Thus, the wrinkle cutoff of the fabric cover and the concealing of the hook-shaped protrusions are performed by the decorative cover and the core material.
