    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To regulate the feeding amount of resin in response to the melting capacity of a compressing part and a metering part by telescopically disposing stretchable spring means having the same inner diameter as a cylinder at the resin supply part corresponding position in the cylinder. SOLUTION: A cylinder 5 disposed at a resin supply unit FZ is molded in an axially recessed step, stretchable spring 15 having the same inner peripheral diameter as the body of the cylinder 5 is inserted into the cylinder 5, and then regulating bolts 17 for regulating the spiral pitch of the spring 15 in the rear end circumferential direction of the cylinder 5 are disposed at the same pitch. When the bolt 17 is rotated counterclockwise, the spiral pitch of the spring 15 is narrow (the width of the spiral groove 18 also becomes narrow), and the frictional resistance between the inner periphery of the cylinder 5 and the resin can be largely increased, and hence the feeding amount of the resin can be increased.

    • PURPOSE: To enhance a plasticizing ability while freely increasing and decreasing a kneading effect by providing a spiral screw flight in the vicinity of a screw shaft composing a plasticizing screw, and allowing the screw shaft and screw flight to be respectively rotated independently. CONSTITUTION: The rod 11a of an advancing and retreating cylinder 11 is withdrawn in a contraction manner prior to conducting the plasticization of resin. The rod 11a of the advancing and retreating cylinder 11 is gradually forwarded from a state having almost no resin reservoir 24 in the front of a screw head 18, and when the first motor 8 and second motor 9 are driven, the screw flight 3 and screw shaft 5 rotate to feed resin supplied from the hopper 14 to the front of a heating cylinder 6. At the compression zone CZ, solid resin delivered from a feeding zone FZ forms a molten film between the heating cylinder 6 and the solid resin through the agency of a thermal energy from the heater 22 and the shearing activity by a rotation of the screw shaft 5, wherein melting of the solid resin is rapidly hastened so that the molten resin is homogenized thermally.

    • PURPOSE:To perform stabilized production extending for a long period of time by preventing run-out of a screw from being generated during a rotation of the screw, by a method wherein a rolling element such as a steel ball supplementing a gap between a screw flight and heating cylinder is arranged on the top of the screw flight. CONSTITUTION:In an injection molding screw, a screw flight 20 is provided spirally on the circumference of a screw 2 main body fitted turnably, advanceably and retreatably within a heating cylinder. Thus a semicircular recessed part 24 is provided on the top part 22 of the screw flight 20 positioning in front of the screw 2 from a side wall face 10b in front of a hopper 10 when the screw 2 is moved backward by a measuring action of molten resin. A steel ball 26 supplementing a gap alpha between a barrel 1 and the screw flight 20 is fitted into the recessed part 24 of the screw flight 20. Then this screw is constituted so that when the steel ball 26 is fitted in the recessed part 24 of the screw flight 20 having the spiral state, the screw flight 20 abuts against an inner wall face of the barrel 1 through the steel ball, through which the gap alphais always supplemented.

    • PURPOSE:To enable an increase in a quantity of transfer and shearing action of resin into an appropriate size, by a method wherein a gap between a heating cylinder and a subflight is made into such that the more the gap goes to the tip from a base, the smaller the gap becomes. CONSTITUTION:A screw 1 is divided into a supply part FZ, compression part CZ and measuring part MZ and provided with a subflight 5 which is ramified from a main flight 3 of a boundary part between the supply part FZ and compression part CZ and united again with the confronting main flight 3 on the midway position of the measuring part MZ. A groove is divided into a resin material supply screw groove, a semimelting plasticization screw groove and a melting plasticization discharge side screw groove. Hereby, a gap beta between the main flight 3 and a heating cylinder 6 is constant from a base part (hopper 14 side) toward the tip (nozzle 16 side). However, the gap between the heating cylinder 6 and the subflight 5 is made so that the more the gap goes toward the tip from a base part, the smaller the gap becomes like alpha3 alpha2 alpha1.

    • PURPOSE:To enhance kneading action while uniformizing thermal distribution by providing a spiral main flight to the periphery of a screw main body and alternately displacing the bottom surface of the screw groove on the pushing side of the sub-flight provided over the range from the start position of a compression part to a weighing part in a radius direction. CONSTITUTION:The sub-flight 5 branched from the main flight 3 at the start position of the compression part CZ of a screw 1 and again opposed to the main flight at the midway position of a weighing part MZ to be unified with the main flight 3 is provided. The bottom surface 5a of the screw groove on the pushing side of the sub-flight 5 is alternately displaced in a radius direction. The resin transferred from a supply part FZ is dammed up by the sub-flight 5 in the compression part C and a molten film is formed between a heating cylinder 6 and a solid resin by the heat energy from a heater 22 and the shearing action accompanied by the rotation of the screw 1. At this time, a semi- molten resin receives kneading action due to complicated movement repeated by the difference in the radius direction of the bottom surface 5a of the screw groove on the pushing side of the sub-flight to be thermally homogenized.

This screw groove has protruding and recessed part 11,12 at the upper and lower parts of the screw 1 and has a flat part 13 on the way thereof. The resin supplied from a supply part FZ is transferred while receives heat energy from a heater 22 in the compression part CZ to break and deform a solid bed. As a result, the molten resin pooled on the drawing side of the screw flight 3 and the resin of the solid bed are brought to a shearing contact state and the temp. rise of the solid bed itself and the resin is accelerated to accelerate the kneading effect accompanied by a mutual positional change.
