    • PURPOSE: To fix plural green compact moldings to the optional positions of one shaft member with a simple stage by dividing vertically an upper or lower punch constituting an ordinary metallic mold so that the green compact moldings fixed to the shaft member can be freely inserted to the central part of a block fixing the punches.
      CONSTITUTION: The shaft material 1a is freely vertically movably mounted to upper and lower mounting members 3, 2 and is inserted to the lower punch 4 which is fixed to the prescribed position and is integrally molded. The punch 4 is inserted slightly into a molding die 6. The upper punch 5 is vertically divided and is slidably fixed to the bottom surface of the block 10 having a space 12 for insertion of the shaft member. Metallic powder 7 for powder metallurgy is packed into a recess (c) delineated by the die 6, the punch 4 and the shaft material 1a in order to fix the 2nd green compact molding to the material 1a. The punch 5 is lowered in the divided state together with the block 10 so as to jump the existing molding 8 and then the molds are mated. The punch is further lowered to mold and fix directly the powder 7 to the material 1a. The die 6 is thereafter lowered and after the green compact molding is removed therefrom, the punch 5 is divided and the material 1a is raised up to the fixing position of the next molding.

    • PURPOSE: To compact and fix a compacted body directly to arbitrary position of a shaft material, by packing metal powder material for powder metallurgy in a bottom closed and a hollow cylindrical cavity demarcated by a shaft material movable vertically and dividable compacting die, and compacting it.
      CONSTITUTION: The shaft material 8a inserted freely into a hole 10 of pressing plates 1, 2 is attached and held to a mounting base 6 for shaft material in a pressing plate 5, a compacting die 4 dividable vertically is joined while being adapted to position where the compacted body 7 is fixed to grasp the material 8a, and the bottom closed hollow cylindrical cavity 4a is demarcated between them. Next, the metal powder material 9 for powder metallurgy is packed n the cavity 4a, compacted by bottom surface thereof and a compacting punch 3 to compact and fix the body 7 to the material 8a directly. Said material 8a is moved, said process is repeated at arbitrary position to obtain a shaft member 8 to which plural bodies 7 are compacted and fixed directly, inexpensively and with high productivity.
