    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable displacement mechanism capable of preventing a second control valve from improperly operating even in lowering of performance of a first control valve while preventing lowering of efficiency of a variable displacement compressor. SOLUTION: The first control valve CV1 controls an opening of an air supply passage 29. In the second control valve CV2 composed of a spool valve, pressure in a downstream side of the first control valve CV1 in the air supply passage 29 is introduced to a back pressure chamber 78 through a valve inner passage 82. The second control valve CV2 opens and closes a first air bleed passage 27 with first valve parts 76a, 76b as the pressure acting on a back face 80 of a spool 76 is changed in accordance with the valve opening of the first control valve CV1. A second valve part 86 is provided on the back face 80 of the spool 76 to close the opening 82a in the back pressure chamber 78 of the valve inner passage 82 when the first valve parts 76a, 76b open the first air bleed passage 27 to the maximum opening in accordance with the closing of the air supply passage 29 by the first control valve CV1.
