    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water absorbing and quick-drying knitted or woven fabric having improved sweatiness feeling during wearing comparable to that of a 100% cotton material and a slight sweatiness feeling in a water absorbing and quick-drying material forming constitution for general mixing of materials represented by a polyester and cotton as typical examples.
      SOLUTION: The knitted or woven fabric comprises ≥20% polyester filaments and is subjected to water absorbing and quick-drying processing. The moisture content in the standard state is ≥7%. The knitted or woven fabric is more preferably composed by mixed knitting or mixed weaving of a polyester filament with other materials or forming a composite yarn of the polyester filament with the other materials.
