    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a gripper device capable of accurately positioning a hollow body such as a preform, a bottle or the like, even a preform with a ratchet to strongly grip the same, capable of holding the hollow body to a stable posture even during the feed without inclining the same and capable of transferring and delivering the hollow body with high positioning accuracy.
      SOLUTION: In the gripper device having a pair of forks having gripping parts provided thereto in an openable and closable manner and gripping the hollow body, the gripping part 2 is formed from arcuate gripping surfaces 4 and groove-like cavities 3 are formed to the gripping surfaces along a circumferential direction and flanges 5 curved in a state concentric to the gripping surfaces of the gripping parts are formed to the side surfaces in the vicinity of the gripping parts of the forks in a projected state.

    • PURPOSE:To realize titled oxidation prevention without reducing the work efficiency, by providing external and internal oxidation preventing devices which are adjacent to a weld zone between external and internal electrode rolls and blow out an inert gas along a weld zone advancing path of a weld can barrel of its downstream. CONSTITUTION:An inert gas blown out of a lower opening part 14C2 of an external oxidation preventing device 7 covers the outside face of a weld point 9 and its adjacent weld zone 3a, and the inert gas blown out of a small hole covers the outside face of the weld zone 3a existing in a downstream a little from the weld point 9 and cuts off air completely. Also, leakage of the inert gas is prevented by a seal member 17 provided between a side wall part 15 being adjacent to the tip part of a leading path 14 for leading the inert gas and the circumferential edge part of an external electrode roll 1. An internal oxidation preventing device 8 is firmly fixed with a bolt 39 to an end part 6a of a mandrel 6 of a downstream of an internal electrode roll 2, and has the same structure and operation effect as the device 7.

    • PURPOSE:To remove coating film only from the surface of lapped edge and to minimize the area of exposed iron in resistance welding of lapped edge of a blank of tin free steel by bending the edge along the boundary line and removing the chromium coating film. CONSTITUTION:The edge 17 of a blank 16 of tin free steel is bent in two steps to form a step 18. It is then so formed that the upper face 17a1 of the right side edge 17a in the figure which is to become a lapped part is positioned nearly parallel to the upper face 16a and slightly higher than the face, and the lower face 17a2 of the left side edge 17a in the figure is positioned nearly parallel to the lower face 16b and slightly higher than the face. The chrominum coating film 5 on the faces 17a1, 17a2 is removed by a rotary removing tool 9 having nearly horizontal axial line while carrying the blank 16 in the direction of the arrow, and an exposed part 10 of iron is formed. In this case, even if shaking of rotation occurs in the tool 9, proceeding of the part 10 to the part 18 or inside thereof crossing the boundary 21 between parts 17a, 18 does not take place.
