    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for extrusion molding of a resin which can be used for suppressing the total amount of a molten resin discharged at the time of startup/stop of an extrusion molding machine, and for preventing the molten resin from being scorched, without stopping the extrusion molding machine at the time of no production but continuously operating it. SOLUTION: The extrusion molding apparatus 1 is provided with a control apparatus 17 to which the ejecting speed of a feeder 4, the rotation speed of a screw 7, the rotation speed of a gear pump 12 and the pressure indication of a pressure gage 15 are input. In the production time, the production operation state is maintained by fixing the rotation speed of the gear pump 12 at a set value and by adjusting the pressure indication of the pressure gage 15 by the ejection speed of the feeder 4 and the rotation speed of the screw 7, and in the time of non-production, the standby operation state is maintained by fixing the ejection speed of the feeder 4 within the range area where the molten resin is not deteriorated in resin quality and by adjusting the pressure indication of the pressure gage 15 by the rotation speed of the gear pump 12, to stabilize each of the operation states.
