    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive which expresses adhesive characteristics, is especially excellent in repeelability, does not cause flotation and peeling by a heating treatment and a high humidity treatment, and is suitably used for color display devices such as liquid crystal display devices.SOLUTION: The adhesive comprises 100 pts.wt. of an acrylic polymer and 5 to 40 pts.wt. of an isocyanate compound, wherein the acrylic compound (A) is a copolymer having a weight-average mol.wt. of 500,000 to 2,000,000 and prepared by copolymerizing monomers containing 0.2 to 10 wt.% of an amide bond-containing ethylenic unsaturated monomer (a1); and the isocyanate compound (B) is a compound prepared by reacting 100 moles of an isocyanate group in a trifunctional isocyanate compound (b1) with 3 to 40 moles of at least one of a 4 to 25C alkyl group-having monofunctional aliphatic alcohol (b2) and an aliphatic secondary amine (b3) having one or more 4 to 25C alkyl groups in the molecule.

The pressure-sensitive adhesive for optical films has 0.5 (inclusive)-300 (inclusive) mol of the isocyanate groups of the isocyanate compound (B) to 1 mol of the hydroxy groups which the acrylic copolymer (A) has.
