    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a residual gas quantity management device capable of managing the residual quantity of gas in a preliminary side cylinder even when only a supply side cylinder is replaced for use in a gas supply system which has a branch pipe from an automatic switch and in which the supply side cylinder is connected to one of the branch pipe and the preliminary side cylinder is connected to the other.
      SOLUTION: This residual gas quantity management device comprises a replacement operation means 29 for inputting that the cylinder is replaced, a flow measuring means 30 for counting and measuring the used amount of gas from the cylinder, a notification means 41 for notifying a monitoring center that the value counted by the flow measuring means reaches a warning value and it receives an input from the replacement operation means, and a cylinder capacity setting means 42 for setting the replacement capacity of the cylinder. The notification means sets the replacement capacity of the cylinder connected to each branch pipe to the warning value. The flow measuring means clears the counted value and re-starts the counting when the counted value reaches the warning value matching the replacement capacity of the supply side cylinder.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas cutoff system for collectively transplanting and setting information on a previous gas cutoff system easily and accurately when the gas cutoff system is replaced.
      SOLUTION: The previous gas cutoff system 16 comprises flow rate detecting means 20 and 26 for detecting the flow rate, abnormality determining means 21 and 27 for determining the abnormal use state of an appliance based on the flow rate detected by the flow rate detecting means 20 and 26, cutoff means 22 and 28 for stopping the supply of a medium when the abnormality is determined by the abnormality determining means 21 and 27, and first and second communication means 25 and 30 for announcing the abnormality when the abnormality is determined by the abnormality determining means 21 and 27. Communication terminals 18 and 19 of the previous gas cutoff system 16 and of a new gas cutoff system 15 are connected to each other by signal wires 17. When an input means 23 of the new gas cutoff system 15 is operated in a prescribed way, the start of reading the content of information set in the previous gas cutoff system 16 by a transplanting setting means 24 is output. Then, the content of the information is obtained through communication by the second communication means 25 of the new gas cutoff system 15, and the obtained information is newly set in the new gas cutoff system 15.
