      SOLUTION: The apparatus for informing the intestinal condition comprises a memory section and a processing section. The memory section stores correlation data which show correlation between a signal value output by a gas sensor that detects a predetermined gas component within excreted gas remaining in a bowl of a toilet and information regarding balance of enterobacteria of a user. The processing section extracts, from the correlation data, information regarding balance of enterobacteria that corresponds to the signal value output from the gas sensor and informs the information to the user. The gas sensor also works as a hydrogen gas sensor for detecting hydrogen gas.
