摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a craft packaging machine capable of packing saddle stitching books certainly without employing a special technique.
SOLUTION: The packaging apparatus (10) comprises a packaging paper wrapping section, at which an article (M) to be packed is moved vertically and a packaging paper (P) is folded along the lower and side faces of the article to be packed into a U-shape, and a packaging paper folding section, at which one side face of the U-shaped packaging paper is bent toward the upper face of the article to be packed and then, while the article to be packed is transferred horizontally, the end face of the packaging paper is bent along the end faces of the article to be packed to form ears (Ef and Eb), the side edges of packaging paper that are on the upper face of the article to be packed are joined together, and both ears (Ef and Eb) are folded to be joined together. A controller (11), upon receiving data inputted on the size, shape, thickness, and number of the saddle stitching books to be packaged, determines a packing height H, sets an upper face bending position of the packaging paper on the basis of the packing height H, and changes a lowered position, an ear forming position, and a horizontal transfer height of the article to be packed, using the upper face bending position as a reference position.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for partially sealing a book, and a sealing sheet by which the content of the book can be partially checked by a reader, and the feeder can allow the reader to partially read the content of the book. SOLUTION: A band body 10 is cut, and this sealing sheet 12b is formed. On one end section 14 of the sealing sheet 12b, an adhesive is applied. The book B is opened at an approximate one half of the thickness, and the sealing sheet 12b is inserted. The book B is closed, and an end section 16 on which the adhesive is not applied from among both end sections of the sealing sheet 12b is bent to the front surface side. Then, the end section 14 of the sealing sheet 12b is superposed on the end section 16 which has already been bent, and both end sections are bonded. Thus, one section of the text of the book B is prevented from being opened.

A flow rate change ΔF of the compressed air fed from the air tank 2 to the load is calculated from a previous value and a present value of the measured flow rate Fpv. A time where the present flow rate F reaches the nearest stage increase flow rate from the flow rate change ΔF is calculated as a stage increase point arrival time t. When the stage increase point arrival time t is shorter than a rising time of the air compressor 1, one of the air compressors 1 in a stop state is started to be in an unloaded state.
