    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing material which is easily transported and manufactured, and capable of forming a shape of protecting a part forming a corner of an object to be packed when gas or liquid is supplied thereto to inflate a gas storage part.SOLUTION: A packing material 1 includes a gas storage part 42 for storing a gas and formed by heat-welding a plate-like member 21 having a heat-weldable surface, and a film member 22 made of plastic with heat weldability and flexibility. The packing material has a flat part 40 forming the gas storage part 42 for storing gas and formed of heat-welding the plate-like member 21 to the plastic-made film member 22 in a straight line state, and a connection part 50 at which the plate-like member 21 and the plastic-made film 22 are heat-welded and bent. The components are bent at the connection part 50 to form a three-dimensional shape, and a material 90 to be packed is stored therein.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing material which is easily transported and manufactured, and capable of forming a shape to protect a section in contact with a corner of an object to be packed when a gas storage part is swollen by supplying gas or liquid.SOLUTION: A packing material includes a flat surface part 20 forming a large number of gas storage parts 51 for storing gas by executing heat welding of two plastic films 21/22 at a straight heat-welding part 41, and folding parts 30 forming gas storage parts 52 for storing gas by executing the heat welding at a heat-welding part 42 in a direction across or parallel to the heat-welding part 41 of the flat surface part 20 of the plastic films 21/22. The flat surface part 20 is arranged on a surface of the object to be packed, and the folding parts 30 are arranged at a corner (a first corner) formed by the ridges formed by two intersected surfaces of the object to be packed, and at a corner (a second corner) formed by three or more overlapped surfaces of the object to be packed.
