      SOLUTION: The peripheral shape of an apparatus body 21 is made to be a circular shape and a fluorescent lamp 14 of a circular ring shape is enveloped. A lamp socket 29 for connecting the fluorescent lamp 14 is provided at a peripheral region in the apparatus body 21. A lighting device 62 is provided at the peripheral region on the apparatus body 21 and at the upper position of the lamp socket 29. In installation on a ceiling side, the apparatus body 21 is installed and embedded in an embedding hole 13 of the ceiling plate 12. When the apparatus body 21 is embedded and installed, if the lighting device 62 interferes with the ceiling structure 81, the apparatus body 21 is rotated and the fitting direction is changed and thus the interference of the lighting device 61 with the ceiling structure 81 is avoided. The distance between the lamp socket 29 and the lighting device 62 is made short, and the lighting efficiency of the fluorescent lamp 14 is improved.

      SOLUTION: A luminaire body 21 is formed so as to have an almost U-shaped cross-section, a plurality of the ring-shaped fluorescent lamps 14 are horizontally disposed on a peripheral area in the luminaire body 21, and a luminaire body side reflecting surface 27 is provided on the inner surface of the peripheral area of the luminaire body 21. A cover side reflecting surface 43 is provided on the outer surface of a cover 38 facing the fluorescent lamps 14 and covering an electric apparatus storage part 34 in the center area of the luminaire body 21. The luminaire body 21 and the cover 38 are both used as reflectors, and the number of components used is reduced. A reflecting surface 48 having an almost U-shaped cross-section and covering the fluorescent lamps 14 is formed by the luminaire body side reflecting surface 27 and the cover side reflecting surface 43 to obtain a desired optical control function.
