    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lamp device capable of detecting heat dissipation abnormalities at lighting and of controlling the lighting of a semiconductor light-emitting element.SOLUTION: A lamp device 14 has: a housing 20 with a metal cap 29; and a light-emitting module 21 and a lighting circuit 23 arranged in the housing 20. The light-emitting module 21 has a module substrate 37, and a semiconductor light-emitting element mounted on the module substrate 37. The lighting circuit 23 has a circuit board 50, a plurality of circuit components 51 mounted on the circuit board 50, and a first thermo-sensitive element 54 and a second thermo-sensitive element 55 arranged at different positions on the circuit board 50 where a temperature difference is generated at the lighting. The lighting circuit 23 controls the lighting of the semiconductor light-emitting element depending on the temperature difference between the first thermo-sensitive element 54 and the second thermo-sensitive element 55.
