SOLUTION: A power system monitoring control system includes: a monitoring control server 30; a first TC 10 which controls power transformer equipment by transmitting and receiving control signals 53 to and from the monitoring control server 30 via a wide area network 40; and a second TC 20 which controls the power transformer equipment when the first TC 10 fails and stops. The control signals 53 include: an instruction signal 53a which is used by the monitoring control server 30 to instruct a control process to the first TC 10; and an instruction response signal 53b which is used to notify the result in response to instruction of the instruction signal 53a. A second TC 20 can detect the control signal 53, which is transmitted or received by the first TC 10 just before the first TC 10 stops.
