摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sulfuric acid decomposition device and its method containing no liquid or mist component in a gas mixture of sulfuric acid, sulfur oxide or the like after decomposition.
SOLUTION: The main portion of the sulfuric acid decomposition device is composed of the first, second and third stage heat exchangers which are connected and arranged in series. Firstly, the liquid sulfuric acid of a raw material is introduced from beneath into the first stage heat exchanger 1 as a material to be heated, then is introduced into the second heat exchanger 2 to be converted to a gas-phase state, and finally passes through the third exchanger 3 to obtain a completely gasified decomposed gas mixture. On the other hand, a heating gas is introduced into the third exchanger 3 in the direction opposed to the flow of sulfuric acid, passes through the second exchanger 2 and finally passes through the first exchanger 1 to be discharged.

The raw material gas supply ports 2, the raw material air supply ports 3, the synthetic gas discharge ports 4 and the oxygen deficient air outlets 5 in the plurality of module reaction furnaces 1 are respectively connected to each other in common parts.
