    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water treatment apparatus for removing only other impurity ions of water to be treated without removing a chemical agent-injecting substance (ammonia being a pH control agent) of water to be treated by a desalting device to reduce the load of the chemical agent injection substance and cooling load.
      SOLUTION: The water treatment apparatus has a desalting device 20 provided to its electric power producing systems 12 and 19 to purify the system water of both electric power producing systems 12 and 19 to treat water (c) to be treated being ion species which are contained in the electric power producing systems and at least one of which originates from the chemical agent injecting substance. The water treatment apparatus is equipped with an electric desalting device 34 which applies DC voltage to the electrode 41 arranged in opposed relation to a pair of diaphragms 43 to perform the desalting operation of impurities other than the ion species originating the chemical agent injection substance contained in the water to be treated under a condition low in ionization degree and removing the ions of the water (c) to be treated introduced into the space between the diaphragms 43 by electrophoresis and a recycling means 46 of the chemical agent injection substance for returning the desalted treated water (d) passed across the diaphragms 43 and 43 of the electric desalting device 34 to the downstream side of the desalting device 20 of the electric power producing systems 12 and 19.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To treat radioactive metal waste, and to enable treatment, such as decontamination and measurement, having a purpose differing from that of the treatment of the radioactive metal waste, to be shared.
      SOLUTION: At least two treatments are performed by treatment facilities in a common building, where at least the two treatments are selected from the decontamination of radioactive metal waste and the radioactive metal volume decrease treatment for confirming/measuring that the radioactive metal waste has become nonradioactive, a recycling article manufacturing treatment for manufacturing recycling articles by melting the nonradioactive metal waste and then solidifying it, and equipment inspection treatment for inspecting equipment removed from nuclear energy facilities.
