    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video transmission device which allows a video reception device to make transmission setting about giving priority to either of a color signal or a frame rate.SOLUTION: A video transmission device according to an embodiment comprises a reception part and an output part. The reception part receives specification information indicating a first mode or a second mode from a video reception device. The output part outputs video to the video reception device via a digital interface including first, second, and third transmission channels. When the reception part receives the specification information and the received specification information indicates the first mode, video in a 4:2:0 format containing four items of luminance information and two items of color difference information for four pixels of the video is output, such that the two items of luminance information and one item of the color difference information are output at the same clock timing, by allocating the two items of color difference information only to the first transmission channel and allocating the four items of luminance information only to the second and third transmission channels.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal transmitter and a signal transmission method which allow for transmission of a signal to a receiver, the receiver having a voltage pulled up to a predetermined voltage, while suppressing the effects of voltage of the receiver.SOLUTION: The transmitter is a signal transmitter that is AC coupled to a receiver via a digital transmission line, and includes transmission means. The transmission means includes the ratio of the number of logical 1 and logical 0, of an encoded bit serial input signal, different from 5:5. When delivering a differential signal based on the bit serial input signal on the digital transmission line, the transmission means delivers the differential signal so that the low frequency components thereof maintain a constant level.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a renewal fees calculation device which can calculate annual fee needed within an arbitrary period, a renewal fees calculation program, and a renewal fees calculation method. SOLUTION: The renewal fees calculation device obtains a target period to calculate the amount of right renewal fees and an expiration date of payment of a next right renewal fees; decides whether the due date is within the target period or not for each case corresponding to the acquired expiration date of payment of right renewal fees. As a result of the decision, if the due date is within the target period, the device calculates the annual fee on this due date; generates the next right renewal fees due date of payment assuming that payment of renewal fees is made by the due date, and the further next right renewal fees due date of payment assuming that payment of renewal fees is made by this generated right renewal fees due date of payment. When each generated right renewal fees due date of payment is within the target period, the device calculates the amount of renewal fees in this expiration date for each case corresponding to each right renewal fees due date of payment, and outputs the calculated amount of annual fee.
