    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of easily manufacturing a light-emitting device having a light-emitting chip mounted on a substrate and having a phosphor-containing transparent resin arranged outside of the chip.
      SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing a light-emitting device includes a mounting step of mounting a light-emitting chip 3 on a substrate 20, a dome forming step of forming a transparent resin 4 fully covering the outside of the light-emitting chip 3 on the substrate 20 to form a dome shape and a phosphor-containing phosphor layer 5 formed outside of the transparent resin 4 by ejecting fluid drops upwards via a fluid-drop ejector, and a reflective layer forming step of forming a reflective layer 6 in the vicinity of such a position as to be outside of the dome-shaped transparent resin 4 and the phosphor layer 5 and to be in contact with the substrate. The dome forming step may includes a setting step of setting the phosphor in the transparent resin at the vicinity of the surface of the dome before the ejected transparent resin is hardened.
