    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite semipermeable membrane having higher water permeability than heretofore while keeping nearly the same salt removability as heretofore.SOLUTION: A composite separation membrane of this invention is a composite semipermeable membrane which is provided with: a substrate; a porous support layer provided on the substrate; and a separation functional layer which is provided on the porous support layer and has a continuously repeated pleat structure including protrusions and recesses on a surface.
