    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for adjusting the quantity of water supply, with which the quantity of water supply to a water supply object part is readily adjusted, a time necessary for completion is short and application and maintenance control are facilitated, and a method for adjusting the quantity of water supply. SOLUTION: In the system for adjusting the quantity of water supply, with which water in a water tank 2 is fed to a water supply object 31 at the water supply object part 3, the system is equipped with a water supply member 1 which is arranged between the water tank 2 and the water supply object part 3 and transports water by a capillary phenomenon or a siphon phenomenon and an apparatus 4 for adjusting a difference in height between the water surface of the water tank 2 and the lowest part 12 at the side of the water supply object part of the water supply member. Further, the system for adjusting the quantity of water supply has constitution that a part of the water supply member 1 is brought into contact with water in the water tank 2, the lowest part 12 at the side of the water supply object part of the water supply member 1 is brought into contact with the water supply object 31, the difference in height is adjusted by the apparatus 4 for adjusting the difference in height and the quantity of water supply fed to the water supply object 31 is adjusted.
