    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a power storage amount of a storage battery from being reduced during a power failure by improving continuity of power generation when a power failure occurs, and improving continuity of power generation or improving efficiency of charging during a power failure even in the case where an FC (Fuel Cell cogeneration) system using a storage battery as a voltage source is included in power generation means.SOLUTION: A power supply system (2) comprises power generation means (FC system 4) and power storage means (power storage system 6). The power supply system further comprises charging means (cooperative charging circuit 8) for charging the power storage means with power generation output of the power generation means in the case where a power failure occurs in a system power source (10). The power generation means generates power using power supplied from the power storage means and at least during a power failure in the system power source, the charging means supplements a power storage amount of the power storage means used for the power generation means with power generation output of the power generation means.
