      SOLUTION: In the case a gas leading pipe 1 using an inner-coated steel pipe, when a work involving heating at a work site W is carried out, a channel valve 1V installed downstream of the work site W (the arrow shows the gas flow direction) is opened and a trapping tool for trapping a molten coating material is inserted from the opened aperture of the channel valve 1V while closing the opened aperture to remove the molten coating material flowing out in the inner-coated steel pipe.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe cutting device capable of reducing labor for cutting work, making a cutting surface roughly rectangular against a pipe, reducing cost of the device itself and extending an aperture range of the pipe which can be mounted.
      SOLUTION: This pipe cutting device 1 is furnished with a device main body part 10 furnished with a cutter 11 to rotate by an electric motor M and a main body supporting part 50 connected to it, installed on an outer periphery of the cutting pipe P free to revolve and to arrange the device main body part 10 to face against an outer peripheral surface of the cutting pipe P. The main body supporting part 50 has an arm part 55 having a plurality of link members 56 connected to each other free to remove and a tension part 60 to tense it on an outer periphery of the cutting pipe P. The arm part 55 is constituted by arranging a plurality of the link members 56 connected to each other in two rows with predetermined intervals in the cross direction, connecting them between revolving fulcrums S of the link members 56 adjacent to each other in the cross direction by connecting pins 51 and providing rollers R rolling on the outer peripheral surface of the cutting pipe P on both end parts of the connecting pin 51. The device main body 10 is furnished with a depth adjusting mechanism 20 to adjust cutting depth of the cutter 11.

The turning member 3 consists of the cylindrical valve element 30 having communication ports 31a, 31b, a lining layer 32 of an elastic material fixed onto the outer peripheral face thereof, and lubricant applied on the surface thereof. In the surface of the lining layer 32, a V-groove 321 is formed for holding the lubricant. The V-groove 321 is formed longer than each of the communication ports 31a, 31b and arranged symmetrically around the axis of rotation of the valve element 30.
