    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a buckle device capable of configuring a lock with a few number of components, and to obtain a method of manufacturing a rotary body by which a rotary body such as the lock member can be confgured with a few number of components and the mechanical strength in a shaft can be sufficiently enhanced.
      SOLUTION: In the lock member 150 constituting the buckle device 10, the shaft 154 is cut from an intermediate molded article that is formed through withdrawing and extruding. As a result, the lock member body 152 or the lock part 160 and the shaft 154 are structured in one component. In addition, the hardness of the intermediate molded article of the lock member 150 is increased by the hardening through the withdrawing and the extruding described as above. This also increases the hardness of the shaft 154 that is formed by cutting of this intermediate molded article; thus, the mechanical strength of the shaft 154 can be enhanced.
