The selected transmitting antenna is characterized by being a transmitting antenna related to the above-mentioned receiving antenna corresponding to the highest receiving quality.

SOLUTION: A receiver is conformed by using a re-initialization parameter for the burst signal received at first or at least one of adjustment parameters calculated by a calculation unit (4) based on a preamble of the burst signal being now received. At least one specific adjustment parameter is decided by the calculation unit (4) to a new burst communicated freely. When the new burst is punctuated by the last received burst and by time less than a silent threshold value, the receiver is further adjusted by using a part of the signal corresponding to a payload of the last received burst in the same communication. 摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gain control method for a radio receiver, which receives a signal in burst, and the receiver. SOLUTION: This method is applicable to the receiver for a signal corresponding to a packet of digital data transmitted in burst, and this method uses an analog pickup sub assembly which is coupled with a digital processing sub-assembly by a means for converting an analog signal into a digital signal. A gain adjusting means acts upon an amplifying means so as to change the power of the signal supplied by the conversion means. This method performs the adjustment of the gain beforehand while it lacks burst, and detects the arrival of a signal even if it is weak, adjusts the gain as the function of the power value of the signal being judged by a burst start symbol so that it can be obtained after conversion. This adjustment depends upon the recognition of the symbol slated at the start of the burst, and it is performed during the time allocated for one symbol, otherwise it is not used by this method.
