摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effective method for embedding watermarks in a CABAC bit stream.SOLUTION: A method includes the steps of: accessing alteration of watermarks, etc. having a syntax element, an original value, and a candidate alternative value in a list of coded data; determining, from that alteration, a compliance change group compliant with a coding protocol such as a CABAC coding protocol, etc. as a subset; and selecting, for a subset, only a compliance change constituting a subset having only one candidate alternative value for each syntax value and conforming to at least one performance criterion. The method can include the steps of: determining the fidelity, restoration possibility, or robustness of the watermark; and removing the watermark from within the subset on the basis of the fidelity, restoration possibility, or robustness, or preventing the watermark from being present in the subset, the fidelity, restoration possibility, and robustness being referenced to performance.
