The menu includes buttons (INV1 to INV4) that can be selected through keys on a remote control but do not have any images or text associated therewith. This allows creation of "invisible buttons" that automatically execute commands upon selection. Further, a sound or sound sequence, such as a melody or click, may be associated with a prescribed state of a button, and may be played back when the button enters this state.
