SOLUTION: The liquid pump device 1 comprises a body 5 and a control mechanism 6. The body 5 has a housing 20, an impeller 21 to be rotated in the housing, and a motor 34 for rotating the impeller 21. The pump device 1 has a motor current discharge flow rate related data storage part 60 for storing liquid viscosity, an impeller rotating speed and data related to a motor current and a discharge flow rate and a motor current value measuring function. Besides, the pump device 1 has a discharge flow rate computation part 58 for computing the liquid discharge flow rate using a liquid viscosity value, an impeller rotating speed value, a motor current measured value and the data stored in the motor current discharge flow rate related data storage part.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid pump device which has a function of determining whether or not an inside of a housing of a pump is filled with a liquid at powering-on.
      SOLUTION: This liquid pump device 1 comprises: a liquid pump device body part 5; and a control mechanism 6. The liquid pump device body part 5 includes: the housing 20; a liquid pump part 2 having a rotor 21 rotating inside the housing; a rotation torque generation part 3 provided with a rotation part 31 having a magnet 33 which attracts the rotor 21; an electromagnet 41 which attracts the rotor; and a position control part 4 having a position sensor 42 for detecting a position of the rotor. In the liquid pump device body part 5, the rotor 21 is rotated in a state in which the rotor is not in contact with the housing. The control mechanism 6 is provided with the function of determining a state in which the housing is not filled with the liquid. The determining function determines the state in which the housing is not filled with the liquid, using a rotor moving function for determination which moves the rotor in the housing using the electromagnet, a moving time calculating function of the rotor, a moving time threshold memory part, a moving time calculation value, and a threshold value.

SOLUTION: This centrifugal liquid-pumping system 1 is equipped with a main body section 5 and a control mechanism 6. The main body section 5 is equipped with a housing 20, an impeller 21 which rotates in the housing, and a motor 34 to rotate the impeller 21 The pumping system 1 is also equipped with a motor current/discharge rate-related data storage unit 60, a liquid measurement data input unit 57, and a discharging flow rate computing unit 58. In this case, the motor current/discharge rate-related data storage unit 60 stores specified viscosity-related discharging flow rate data comprising a plurality of motor current/discharge rate-related data for a plurality of impeller rotating numbers at specified liquid viscosities, for a plurality of specified viscosities being different. The discharging flow rate computing unit 58 computes a liquid- discharge rate using an impeller rotating number-measuring function, a motor current value-measuring function, a liquid viscosity value, an impeller rotating number value, a motor current measured value, and the data stored in the motor current/discharge rate-related data storage unit.
