    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for calibrating a spectrometer.SOLUTION: A spectrometer 500 comprises a Fabry-Perot interferometer 100 and an image sensor 200 having sensitivity to colors. The interferometer has a first transmission peak and a second transmission peak. The method for determining a calibration parameter of the spectrometer includes the steps of: providing a first calibration laser beam LB 11 having a narrow spectral peak; obtaining first detector signal values Sand Sfrom the image sensor by making the first calibration laser beam enter the spectrometer when a reference spectral peak is in the vicinity of a first spectral position λ; obtaining second detector signal values Sand Sfrom the image sensor by making the first calibration laser beam enter the spectrometer when the reference spectral peak is in the vicinity of a second spectral position λ; providing a second calibration laser beam having a wide band width; and obtaining third detector signal values Sand Sfrom the image sensor by making the second calibration laser beam enter the spectrometer.
