    • PURPOSE:To form the magnetic roller having enlarged surface density of magnetic flux of magnetic poles, and moreover having the superior action to make magnetic particles to transfer in the axial direction by a method wherein the spiral type magnetic poles are provided on the outside circumferential face of the cylindrical magnet substance having multipolar anisotropy on the outside circumference. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic poles are magnetized spirally on the outside circumferential face of the cylindrical magnet substance 1 having multipolar anisotropy on the outside circumference. Because magnetism of the spirally magnetic pole is strengthened the most at the part X to cross a straight line (b) parallel with the axial direction presenting magnetism strongly according to anisotropy of the outside circumference, and magnetism is weakened the most at the intermediate part of the parts X, the difference between the weakest part and the strongest part of the magnetic pole acts to promote a transference in the lateral direction of the magnetic particles when used for a magnetic brush, etc.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain an electric wave absorber having an excellent oblique incident property, by using a plural number of layers in which the content of the conductive particle increases successively and at the same time forming the cross section of the final layer into a triangle using the arriving direction of the electric wave for the apex. CONSTITUTION:The electric wave absorber is formed by connecting the unit blocks A in a desired number. The block A is composed of layers 1-4, and the content of the conductive particle is minimum in the layer 1 that serves as the projection face of the electric wave and then increases successively toward the layers 2 and 3 to be maximum at the layer 4. The layer 1 is composed of a plural number of elements 1a having a cross section of an equilateral triangle, and the layer 2 is formed with a rectangular cross section. The layer 4 has a cross section of an equilateral triangle with its vertical angle touching the rear face of the layer 2. And the base opposite to the vertical angle is distributed nearly in parallel to the base of the element 1a. With such distribution of the layer 4, the layer 3 having a triangular cross section is provided in the space between the layers 4 and 2. In such constitution, an excellent obliquie incident property can be obtained.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent an electromagnetic wave from being reflected from an iron tower, a bridge, etc., by covering conductive bars, which are constituents of the iron tower, the bridge, etc., with a ferrite cylinder to enhance impedance. CONSTITUTION:Reflection prevention unit 1 which is arranged around iron pipe 2 consists of semicylindrical ferrite half bodies 3 and 4 which can unite with each other, and conductive foil 5 such as aluminum foil is fitted to the inside circumference face of unit 1. Since the surface impedance becomes high because materials having a high electromagnetic wave absorption characteristic are used as the ferrite forming ferrite half bodies 3 and 4, the current is flowed little, and as a result, the reflected electromagnetic wave is reduced. It is sufficient for this reflection prevention unit if the circumference of conductors of the iron tower, the bridge, etc., is surrounded by the ferrite which has a high electromagnetic wave absorption characteristic, and the form of this unit may be selected properly as desired.
