    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power magnetic core exhibiting excellent performance in any of standard deviation of density, magnetic characteristics and strength, and to provide a manufacturing method therefor.SOLUTION: An amorphous soft magnetic alloy powder, and glass powder having a softening point lower than the crystallization temperature of the amorphous soft magnetic alloy powder are mixed. A binder resin added with a silane coupling agent is admixed to the mixture and pressure molded. A molding thus obtained is heat treated at a temperature lower than the crystallization temperature of the amorphous soft magnetic alloy. The amount of silane coupling agent being added to binder resin is 0.25%-1.0% for the binder resin. A methyl phenyl silicon resin is used preferably as the binder resin. When mixing the amorphous soft magnetic alloy powder and low melting point glass, a lubricative resin may be added.

Thereafter, a metal salt of stearic acid as a lubricant is mixed therein in order to increase a thermal decomposition speed of a methyl group. A mold body is formed at room temperature by pressurizing and molding it. In this case, the heated and dried methylphenyl-based silicone vanish acts as a binder in molding. SOLUTION: A soft magnetic alloy powder containing iron, silicon and aluminum as principal components is heated in a hydrogen atmosphere at a temperature higher than a temperature at which the soft magnetic alloy is made brittle and higher than a temperature at which sintering is started. A binding insulating resin is mixed into the heated soft magnetic alloy powder. The soft magnetic alloy is mixed with ethylene bis stearamide of 0.3 wt.% as a lubricous resin for 2 hours. A silane coupling agent of 1 mass% and a silicon resin of 0.8 wt.% are mixed into the soft magnetic alloy power mixed with the bonding insulating resin in this order and are heated and dried for 2 hours at 150°C. Ethylene bis stearamide of 0.4 wt.% is mixed into the mixture coated with the binding insulating resin as a lubricant resin. Then, the mixture is press-molded under a molding pressure of 1,600 MPa at a room temperature to form a molding. The molding is sintered for 6 hours at 700°C in the atmosphere.
