    • PURPOSE:To facilitate excavation of a trench at a limited space, by a method wherein an elevating mechanism, elevating a cram-shell bucket, an inclining mechanism, turning the elevating mechanism, and a carrying mechanism, hoizontally reciprocating the elevating and the inclining mechanism, are installed to a cradle. CONSTITUTION:After a cradle 30 is installed in a trench excavating place, a hydraulic jack 19 is streched in a vertical condition, and a cram-shell bucket 10, installed to the lower end of an elevating mechanism A, is lowered to a ground surface for excavation. Whem soil is discharged, by the hydraulic jack 19 is contacted to raise the bucket 10, and the elevating mechanism A is turned in a 90 deg. arc around a pin 33 to bring it into a horizontal state. In which case, the bucket 10 is brought to a shape in that it is bent at theposition of a pin 14, and it is held stictly in a vertical suspension state. Thereafter, through expansion of the hydraulic jack 19, the bucket 10 is horizontally moved forward to load soil toa damp truck therefrom. Adjustment of an excavating position is effected through movement of the elevating mechanisms A and aninclining mechanism B with the aid of a carrying mechanism C.

    • PURPOSE:To enable efficient pressing-in of a sheathing panel, by a method wherein a cram-shell bucket is installed to a vehicoe so that it is elevatable, horizontally bendable, and slidable in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle, and a sheathing press-in jack is installed to the lower part of the vehicle. CONSTITUTION:An openable cram-shell bucket 10 is elevated by a hydraulic cylinder 19, and a cradle, supporting the upper end of a hydraulic cylinder 19, is horizontally bent on a vehicle 1. A main frame 25, to which the cradle is pivotally supported, is slid in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle, and a hydraulic jack 60 for pressing-in or pulling off a sheathing panel is situated to the lower part of the vehicle. A sheating panel 4 is pressed in a sheathing panel 4 as a trench 5 is excavated by the cram-shell 10. This enables a ground to be excavated throughout the way to the front of the sheathing panel, and permits the sheathing panel to be easily pressed in a ground even if the ground is hard.

    • PURPOSE: To exactly penetrate a soft ground improver into the ground and harden the soft ground with good efficiency by controlling the direction of the tip of an improver by a direction controller in the improvement of soft ground.
      CONSTITUTION: An improver 1 is penetrated into soft ground while turning its stirring shaft 6. As the penetration of the improver 1 proceeds, whether or not the penetration of the improver 1 is vertical or directed to a given direction is confirmed by a signal sent from inclination measuring devices 14 and 14'. When a deviation is detected between the direction of the improver and a given direction, a direction controller 11 for the deviated tip of the improver is operated and a jack 12 is extended to press a control plate 13 on the inner wall of soft ground where a stirring blade 7 has passes and thereby a sidewise reaction force is produced in the control plate 13 to correct the deviation of the tip of the improver 1.
